About Us

Ediom was established in 2019 by Georgina Mahony and Terry Cotton, based on their belief that Engineering Management is a unique and defined skill set where the right people, technical knowledge, and systems working together are fundamental to generating great project outcomes.

Having spent most of their careers working at the technical delivery interface on major infrastructure projects between designers, constructors, owners, and operators, they recognised a gap between traditional design consultants, contractors, and project management consultancies that focuses on achieving excellence in the area of Engineering Management or “Technically Knowledgeable Management.” As the scope, quantum, and technical complexity of infrastructure delivery have grown, they understood that being able to provide specialist resources in this area was going to become increasingly challenging to support in-house, opening the opportunity to provide expert consultant services at the right time in project life cycles.
